A day before his exams, Nowhatta student sent behind bars

Srinagar,  November 16,2016: Indian Police arrested a  12th class student from Nowhatta in Srinagar when class 12th examinations started across Kashmir valley .
The arrested student has been identified as Abdul Waheed Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar, a resident of Pandan Nowhatta. Police also has confirmed his arrest. A top cop in police station Nowhatta confirmed the arrest and claimed that Waheed was wanted in a case for his involvement in a pro-freedom protests.
Meanwhile illegally detained student Waheed’s sister told  media men that he left home to fetch notes of political science from a book seller. “On the way police arrested him with out any rhym.” 
She said that her brother is supposed to appear in his “Education” paper on Wednesday and they are worried about his career. The family has sought Waheed’s immediate release.
